Giveaway is now closed. Congrats, Marci!
Did I get your attention?! :) That's right, I'm giving away a few of my beloved Heather Ross scraps! I actually had to tape up the box after I put them in, I was worried I'd pull them back out.
I was lucky enough to win one of the Traveling Stash boxes from The Sunflower Patch. If you don't know about the Traveling Stash, Cherise at Sewingly Along does a fantastic job keeping track of all the boxes & giveaways. Basically it's exactly what the name says - a box of fabric & other goodies that's traveling around the US. When you receive it, you can take out anything you would like, as long as you replace what you take out.
Here's a peek at what was in this box:
Lots of fabric, including some laminates (the cherries, black & white, and red with white polka dots at the front of the picture), a book, embroidery hoop, turning tool, & trim. There are some other things as well that didn't make it into the picture: a bag pattern, magazine, thimble, thread, and probably a few other little things I can't remember now.
Here are the fabrics I added to the box. A couple fat quarters, and that green linen with the butterflies is probably a 1-2 yard cut. I can't remember now how big it was!
And of course, what you really want to see, the Heather Ross scraps. These are each 4 inches square, which I realize isn't huge, but it really was hard for me to add them to the box. These little guys are my absolute favorite!
So what do you have to do to win? Unfortunately there are a few rules you must follow in order to enter.
*Be an active blogger. Post about receiving and the giveaway on your blog in a timely manner.
*There is a note in the box that logs where the box has been. Please add your info and place the note back in the box.
*There is a list of Rules and Guidelines in the box. Please read and follow these and return the list to the box.
*You may take anything you like from the box. Just replace every item with comparable quilt shop quality items equal to the amount taken. See guidelines.
*Ship the box to the next person in a reasonable amount of time.
*Due to the amount of postage shipping is only within the USA.
Head over to Sewingly Along to see the full list of guidelines.
Comment here for your chance to win, please only one comment per person. To enter, tell me your favorite memory from this summer. I don't know about you, but I can hardly believe the kids around here are already headed back to school! Where has the summer gone?
Giveaway is open until August 23, and I will announce the winner (drawn by random.org) Friday, August 24. Please be sure to leave your e-mail address if you are a No Reply Blogger. If you are a No Reply Blogger, you will have until Monday, August 27 to contact me before I draw another winner.
I'll share what I chose to keep from the box in a couple days. I definitely got some goodies!
Until next time...
I would love to have this box come visit - I see some goodies to add to existing collection items so I might possibly finally start that special project!
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this box of treasures! I see several things I would love to have. And I have tons of goodies I could add back to this box.
ReplyDeleteI am impressed by your generosity...I have been stalking those fishies forever as I have none and would love to have those squares...I'm sure I could find some good things to add to this box, thanks for the chance :)
ReplyDeleteFavorite memory this summer? That is hard, there are so many. Maybe our trip to the beach, or the aquarium? Hmmm...I think it would have to be our little guy crawling and sitting up for the first time. They grow up SO FAST!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, so pretty! I would love a chance at this box, thanks for the opportunity!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory is having my stepdaughter with us for an entire month. I treasure those times. She's growing up so fast.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite memory - my sons birthday party. I was so stressed, because it rained that morning, but it was beautiful weather for it at party time. Good food, good company, he had fun, and I think he loved everything Mickey Mouse, so it was worth the work and stress. :D
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to get a look at what is in that box! My favorite memory of this summer was watching my little boy roll over for the first time.
ReplyDeleteWe bought our first house this summer. After renting for over 10 years, it has been quite challenging, but so worth it!
ReplyDeleteWow I wish I was in teh USA - I'd swap for the book and the goldfish - wow!!! Fun!!!
ReplyDeleteI've had a wonderful summer, including lots of vacation travel and time spent sitting and sewing or reading on my porch. But probably my favorite memory of the summer was learning that my 7 year old won first place in the backstroke in the Regional Swim Meet, only his second meet ever. I think I was more excited than he was!
