(Sorry, the giveaway is now closed)
Is everybody ready to kick off 2011 & get the Amy Butler Style Stitches Sew Along started?! I know I am, so let's kick things off in a big way. As I mentioned before, I'm giving away one copy of the book, and here's your chance to win! Entering is easy - everybody will have two chances to be entered. First, leave a comment with the project from the book you're most looking forward to making. Second, share about the Sew Along on your blog, and come back & leave a comment with a link to your post. Easy-peasy!
I'll share more about the first project (The Cosmo Bag) later this week.
Entries will be open until midnight Thursday, January 6, and I will draw & announce the winner Friday!
Until next time...
I am most excited about the Perfectly Pleated Clutch! It is so GORGEOUS! But I can't wait to make all the bags!
ReplyDeleteI blogged about the Sew Along.

I'm looking forward to the checkbook cover. I always seem to lose my checkbook (in my purse AND around the house) so a cute, bright cover would be great. :)
ReplyDeleteI made a bunch of the "origami bags" for travel use last fall, and love them. I am eager to make some of the other beautiful bags from this book, but most need checkbooks covers: between biz and personal accounts, I have FOUR icky blue-plastic-from-the-bank checkbooks on my desk. Pretty fabric covers have been on my "make these soon" list for way too long!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to sew the perfectly pleated clutch and then keep it all for myself!
ReplyDeleteI just blogged about it too:

I haven't received my book yet but the one on the cover looks good to me.
ReplyDeleteI am "sew" excited for this...I can NOT wait to make the Cosmo bag.
ReplyDeleteI have also blogged (added a linky party button on my blog)

I'm back because I forgot to mention that I HAVE THE BOOK already, so if my name comes up the winner please draw again and thrill someone else.
ReplyDeleteI did post to my blog, here:

(and even figured out how to add the button thingie to my sidebar).
I already have the book, so don't count my entry. :-) I just wanted to say that I am looking forward to the last bags in the book (Blossom, Miss Maven, and Take Flight). I would have started them already but I know we're supposed to be working in order, lol.
ReplyDeleteThe pleated bag looks fabulous! Thanks for hosting a sew along. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have the book yet so I don't know what all is in it, but these pleated clutches sound intriguing. I have never attempted pleats or a small bag so I would love to try this.
ReplyDeleteI have tried to make a clutch before and it did not work out. I am hoping the perfectly pleated clutch will work!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try the perfectly pleated clutch and the teardrop bag!
ReplyDeletehere is my post about it :)

The Cosmo Bag just looks HUGE and that works for me. Fingers corssed I would love to win this book!
ReplyDeleteI am most excited about the ruffle bag; I must admit, however, that all of Amy Butler's patterns look awesome. What a way to ring in 2011. Let's start sewing!
ReplyDeleteSaw this over on Vibrant Designs and this looks like so much fun! I've never seen an AB pattern I didn't like. I have never seen the book so I don't know what's in it but a gigantic cosmo bag sounds good to me! I'd love to win so I can play along!

I blogged about it too! (Which is a big deal for me, I never blog about giveaways!)

I am most excited to sew something (anything!) for myself. After the holidays (and a marathon of gift crafting), I would like to make something for me.
ReplyDelete(But I am honest enough to admit there is a high likelihood that I will then give whatever I make away to the first friend that admires it. I like to say "I love you!" with something homemade.
I have not seen the book, so I don't know yet what I would make. All I know is that I really, really, really want to make something by Amy Butler. Sure hope I win!

I don't have the book yet, so I'm not sure of all the different bags in it, but I'm loving the sound of the Perfectly Pleated Clutch!!! Tutu_Precious@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI would love to make the clutch and the bag on the front cover :)
ReplyDeleteI am so excited to try the Cosmo Bag and join you on your journey!!!
ReplyDeleteHere is my blog post too!
