Not a single crafty thing has happened since last week. Except I'm still, you know, growing a baby. A very, very active baby!
Hopefully nobody worried about me too much the past week, we went out of town for a much-needed vacation & it's been hard getting back into the swing of things. All things sewing & crafty will resume this weekend (hopefully!), and I'm excited to be able to share the secret project in a few days as well.
I'm still working on plans for my bag, but now I'm torn between the pattern I was going to use (a modified version of the Wizard of Oz bag I made) and Sara's new tutorial for the Naughty Secretary bag. Decisions, decisions!
I think I've also made a decision on the fabrics I want to use for the Kaleidoscope quilt along with Elizabeth. I need to pick up just a few fat quarters to add to the yardage I'll be using from my stash. I do have a charm pack that I'm hoping to pull some pieces from, and I'm planning to use the big polka dots in place of my solid.
Here's hubby and I at my sister's graduation this weekend. Yes, I am getting to be as big as a house. ;) It's hard to believe that in just nine short weeks this little guy is due!
Hopefully everybody else had a productive week!
Head on over to Freshly Pieced to see what everybody else is up to!
Until next time...
Awww, look at you! No worries, I figured you were resting, as you well should - that's the one thing I would love to have gone back and told myself when I was pregnant! I adore that Naughty Secretary bag, that would be awfully cute!
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic! That end stage is so hard, you just feel like a whale. I love that naughty secretary bag too, that one is on my list!
ReplyDeleteYou look wonderful and love how you added your photo to a WIP blogpost. The fabrics you chose for the Kaleidescope QA are lovely.
ReplyDeleteoh you are just the cutest thing!
ReplyDeleteAwww look at you all cute and preggers!! :)
ReplyDeleteI really want to make the secretary bag too and she has me intrigued with the Noisy Librarian (smaller size) which should be out in pattern form soon. So many things to make, so little time!
I bet those nine weeks will just fly by! You're looking adorably pregnant. I think that can definitely count as your WIP for this week.
ReplyDeleteOh your WIP Wednesday is just like mine! LOL You are too cute, enjoy these last weeks of freedom!
ReplyDeleteLook at your cute preggo self! :) I've seen a t-shirt on Pinterest that basically says something to the effect of "i'm so crafty, I make babies" - so maybe you need that shirt ;)
ReplyDeleteAwww, you look great! And so happy. : ) No worries about not sewing, you deserve the break! Thanks for linking up!
